His Story
Tyler Scott Sudbury — Ty to everyone who knew him — was a loving son and brother who lived life on his own terms. He had a warmth about him that made the people around him feel genuinely cared for, and a quiet fierceness when it came to protecting the ones he loved.
Ty moved through life with an easy authenticity. He called California, Washington, and eventually Arizona home over the years, carrying that same generous spirit wherever he landed. He loved good food — the spicier the better — and a great slice of pizza could make his day. Music was always close by: Mötley Crüe in the loud years, country as life mellowed into something a little deeper. Cars and football rounded out a life full of simple, genuine pleasures. And through all of it, he loved to laugh — the kind of laugh that filled a room and stuck with you long after.
He was, above all, someone who showed up for the people he cared about. That loyalty, that presence — that's what those who loved him will carry forward.
This is just the beginning of Ty's story as we know it. Family and friends are gathering their memories, and more will be added here in the weeks ahead. If you have a story, a photo, or a moment you'd like to share, please leave it in the guest book below.
